When to see a gynaecologist?
You can see a gynaecologist for all aspects of women’s health, from contraception to pregnancy planning and menopause symptoms. Often, people come to see a gynaecologist when they have a symptom and they want to find out what’s causing it. Reasons to a visit can be lower abdominal pain, extra bleeding or changes in menstrual cycles. Hormonal medication may also require regular check-ups. Our clinics also perform early pregnancy ultrasound scans up to week 12 of pregnancy.
