Antti Perheentupa

Medical director, M.D., Docent of reproductive medicine, specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, special qualification in reproductive medicine and andrology

Antti Perheentupa graduated as a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology from the University of Oulu in 2001 and completed further training in reproductive medicine in 2006. He was granted a special qualification in andrology in 2004.
He has been working as an infertility specialist since 2002 and was responsible for the University of Turku’s reproductive medicine training program from 2006 to 2024. As the Chief Physician at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Turku University Hospital, his responsibilities included not only infertility treatments but also outpatient care in gynecology. He has been involved in developing effective methods for the treatment of male infertility.
Antti remains active in scientific research and international professional associations. He started at Ovumia in 2024.
